Abdominal Mass ICU

In the ED, their vitals/exam are as above. Patient with new, infectious vs. malignant abdominal mass.
– Labs/Tests: VBG, lactate, CBC, CMP, lipase, troponin x2, BNP, coags, blood cultures, procalcitonin, UA, urine culture
– Imaging: Upload outside images, CXR
– Treatments: IVF, empiric antibiotics, supplemental O2 as needed, pain control as needed, antiemetics as needed
– Consults: General surgery, GI (general consult and for potential necrosectomy) +/- IR if collection that can be drained
– Dispo: Likely admission to MICU vs. SICU
