In the ED, their vitals/exam are as above. Ddx includes bruise, sprain, fracture, dislocation, subluxation, ligament tear. Lower suspicion for chronic overuse injury, bruise, nerve entrapment, nonunion/avascular necrosis from old trauma, tendopathy, or tenosynovitis given traumatic nature of symptoms
– Labs/Tests: None
– Imaging: *** wrist x-ray
– Treatments: Tylenol/NSAIDs
– Consults: None***
– Dispo: Likely discharge with sports medicine follow-up
