Knee Exam

Focused Knee Examination:

Pain to palpation over the *** aspect of the knee. No joint line tenderness. Patella palpated, no subluxation noted. No deformity, bruising, or increased warmth noted. *** effusion.

ROM was within normal limits. No crepitance noted. Strength ***/5 to flexion. Strength ***/5 to extension.

Anterior drawer was negative. Posterior drawer was negative. Patient denied pain during valgus stress (Force applied to medial aspect of knee, Painful in MCL injury). Patient denied pain during varus stress (Force applied to medial aspect of knee, painful in LCL injury). McMurray test was negative, no audible thud or joint line pain were noted.

Patient ***able to bear weight and walk >5 steps.
